Eliot poem called Gerontsion (the title is Greek for “little old man,” and the poem is an internal monologue about the thoughts and feelings of an older man, told through the eyes of a man who lived in post-World War I Europe for most of his life in the 19th century). In the intellectual world, in search of truth, it is difficult to distinguish between reality and its reflection, an illusion if you will, one is in a “hall of mirrors” and one is in a predicament. First of all, the cast is absolutely incredible. It stars Michael Fassbender, Jeffery Wright, Richard Gere, and Katherine Waterston. This cast is enough reason to give it five tries and on top of that, it’s a really good show. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this show and many of its actors nominated for some awards come awards season. The series follows an undercover CIA agent (Fassbender) who is ordered to give up his secret life and return to the field with his ex-boyfriend (Waterston), whom he still loves. His love for her begins to interfere with his real life and mission. If you’re a fan of spy thrillers or a good crime series, give this one a try. You won’t be disappointed.
