Imprisoned in Sing-Sing for a crime he did not commit, Divine G finds purpose in acting in a theater company with other inmates in this story of resilience, humanity, and the transformative power of art. At the beginning of the film, the actors are rehearsing different parts of the play.

Excellent film from all sides
It provides the right tone and rhythm between harsh reality and human potential for good. There is little that can be improved in this film.
Everything visible in the film is worked out well
The script, cinematography and acting support the story very well. The only reason I’m not giving this movie a 10 is because I don’t have direct experience working in prisons, so I can’t vouch for the authenticity of life there.
