In the midst of a bitter feud between the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun, two sisters fight on opposing sides in a war between magical technologies and conflicting beliefs. It already features Jinx and the town of Piltover. Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to make an animated series, which took them several years. Actors Imagine Dragons ft. even though you’re dropped directly into this fictional world, it takes time and care to create places and characters in a commendable show-don’t-tell style. Solid character development and world building means it’s completely enjoyable to watch without knowing the game. The animation is absolutely excellent. As an anime fan myself, I found the animation in Arcane to be far better than anything I’ve ever seen in an animated series before. The attention to detail is incredible. Clearly, no artistic talent or financial expense was spared to bring the world of Runeterra to life. Great soundtrack, great acting and an exciting story that doesn’t hold back when it comes to violence and adult themes. Only the first three episodes have been released so far and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us!.
