Synopsis
On the rugged island of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup (Mason Thames; The Black Phone, For All Mankind) stands tall. Hiccup, the resourceful but neglected son of boss Stoick the Mighty (Gerard Butler, voiced by the animated franchise), defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, the fearsome Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons, challenging the foundations of Viking society. With the wild and ambitious Astrid (BAFTA nominee Nico Parker; Dumbo, The Last of Us) and the eccentric village blacksmith Gobber (Nick Frost; Snow White and the Huntsman, Shaun of the Dead) at his side, Hiccup confronts a world torn apart by fear and misunderstanding. As an ancient threat threatens both Vikings and dragons, Hiccup’s friendship with Toothless becomes the key to creating a new future. Together, they must navigate the delicate path to peace, transcend the boundaries of their world, and redefine what it means to be a hero and a leader.
