I’m still on episode 4 but so far so good, pretty awesome actually, it was everything I hoped for
Synopsis
In the timeless city of Macondo, seven generations of the Buendia family must find their way through love, oblivion, and the inevitability of their past and destiny. To date, this is the most expensive Latin American Netflix project, in which Colombian groups and communities of indigenous peoples create props and scenery for the series.
We all know that it is impossible to dream
I know that many people will not like this adaptation, but in the end it is a great novel. And as you all know, the author had not previously given his consent to the adaptation of the novel.
Now his children agreed to the adaptation
As a result, in my opinion, Netflix did a good job with the adaptation, maybe not perfect, but very close. I think they did a wonderful job of recreating the spirit of the novel.
+ The cast is very good, and the locations and the entire production are really satisfactory
Overall, I recommend that people give the film a chance and not be swayed by the critics or even the Netflix name. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest television and streaming premieres of this month.
