Synopsis
A unique profile of British pop star Robbie Williams
It took a year and a half to get permission to film the lavish dance sequence on Regent Street in London because it is owned by the British royal family. Two nights before the planned start of filming, after a whole week of rehearsals, Queen Elizabeth II died and filming had to be postponed. Everyone had to pay anyway, including shop owners and crew, and the production insurance did not cover losses caused by the monarch’s death.
He appeared in the project 7PM: December 5, 2024, episode (2024)
The producers had to raise additional funds to film the episode, which was filmed five months later. I didn’t know what to expect from the movie because I thought it would be quite strange to see Robbie as a monkey. After all, the monkey brings a lot to the movie.
Jono Davies, who plays Robbie, is a brilliant actor
You fall in love with him immediately and after a few minutes, he IS Robbie. Although you can’t see his face, he certainly knows how to represent him. This story is a story that will touch your heart.
I respect him a lot
It’s not just about Robbie the pop star, but also about his youth. In this film, full of stories about his personal life, career and the challenges he had to face, he has the courage to be vulnerable. The music and visuals also add a lot to the film.
The film is a mix of laughter but definitely tears
At the end I was speechless, with tears in my eyes, but at the same time I was most PROUD of who he is today.
