Describes only the opening scene, which he describes as “very controversial”
Synopsis
Art the Clown is ready to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting citizens of Miles County as they sleep peacefully on Christmas Eve. Director Damien Leone has said that several major studios have expressed interest in financing this film based on the unexpected success of Terrifier 2 (2022), even without a complete script, but he has turned them all down because he would certainly never let him. Leone has commented that the only reason he can be so uncompromising when it comes to shooting horror and gore is that he finances his films independently, creates all the special effects himself to keep costs down, and doesn’t have a big studio around his throat to do more. popular movie..
Next comes Terrifier (2016)
Mia mentions that the 5th anniversary of the original massacre was coming up soon, but it happened on Halloween and this movie taking place at Christmas 5 years later would mean that the anniversary that just passed 2 months ago.. Julia’s brother: Julia, I thought I told you to stay away – [Art kills him with an axe]. There is an uncut version of the film that lasts 2 hours and 25 minutes with 5 additional scenes. Artwork by Drew Fulk, Joe Occhiuti, Paul Wiley, Spencer Charnas and Steve Sopchak, performed by Ice Nine Kills and Shavo Odadjian.
Me: Have you heard of Friday the 13th?
Everyone rated this movie a 1: no story; it’s just an excuse for blood. Each sequel is about the kids going to camp (or New York or outer space LOL) and getting killed in more and more creative ways. You would think that anyone who watched the third installment of the Terrifier series would know what to expect from this movie. With that in mind, there isn’t any real plot aside from Art being on vacation killing; this time he is accompanied by Victoria instead of the Little Pale Girl from the second film.
Good opening sequence with plenty of tension, good screen time for Art’s antics, good climax and conclusion that sets the stage for Terrifier 4 (which is already confirmed)
While the overall film is perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing (Christmas looks great and the gore/effects are more realistic), I prefer the raw and raw feel of the original. There are some highly imaginative kills – to the point where you wonder who even thinks of these things – adding to the shock and dark humor that fans will appreciate. It doesn’t have the fantastical, supernatural aspect like Terrifier 2, which I didn’t care for though, so this movie is a nice return to form for Art and his victims. Look!.
